Olaf è un tizio tedesco che si è mappato mucchi di strade marocchine e mette il tutto sul suo sito aggratisse a disposizione. Per provare le piste dove sto cercando di seppellire la moto, questo è uno dei 3 strumenti. Il secondo è il libro 'Morocco overland' scritto da uno che ci ha passato anni con qualsiasi tipo di mezzo. Il terzo anche sticazzi. Con Olaf, sò che almeno qualcuno ci è già passato, e con il resto cerco di capire la difficoltà. Oggi dovevo andare da Tinghir a M'hamid, passando per Ourzazate ed Agdz...si nomi un pò cosí, qui 'Londra' e 'Parigi' non le hanno messe. Morocco overland propone una pista non lontana e dice, "...manageable on a big bike, even two-up. Do-able in half a day". Controllo il gippiesse ed è pure mappata da Olaf...deal. Poi succede che Olaf mappa un'altra cosa e tu per seguire lui ti trovi nel letto di un fiume tra ghiaia e sabbia




sperando che almeno la traccia voglia dire che c'è una via d'uscita...che poi c'è ma che ti porta su un'altra pista di terra battuta da fare a 120 con nuvola di polvere tipo Mad Max

Olaf is a german fellow that run through morocco and mapped most of the available tracks. He gives all he has for free on his site. To ride the bike on the tracks I'm trying to bury my bike, this is one of the three resources I am using. The second is 'Morocco overland', wrote by another guy that spent here many years riding and driving whatever. The third resource...who cares. Using Olaf I know that somebody was there, with the rest I try to understand how hard it will be. Today I had to go from Tinghir to M'hamid, riding through Ourzazate and Agdz...yes these kind of names, they don't do 'London' and 'Paris' in here. Morocco overland suggests a nearby track saying "...manageable on a big bike, even two-up. Do-able in half a day". I check on the GPS and it's covered by Olaf...deal. Then it happens that actually Olaf maps something else and to follow him you find yourself in a dry river covered with stones and sand (here close your eyes, scroll up, open your eyes on the first pic, then close your eyes scroll down back here reopen your eyes and keep reading...this is the cheap verson of a popup) hoping that at least having a track would mean, having a way out...that actually is available but that then takes you on another gravel road to run at 120km/h with the dust-cloud effect Mad Max style (manual popup again here on the second pic pls) that's actually awesome but...even two-up...your mommy.
